Jennifer Sanzi - Public Relations Manager
There's an envious amount of energy and optimism that flows effortlessly from Jennifer, qualities that make her a valuable addition to the agency as well as to the many non-profit organizations that - as she explains - "are a huge part of who I am and who I strive to become." A fan of the agency's free-form creative lounge, Jennifer also finds time to brush up on her writing skills, poetry in particular.
Jennifer's journalistic training and passion for writing have helped hone her craft. She has a strong background in diverse writing techniques, specializing in public relations writing. Her work for Olsen & Associates includes a broad range of projects and account management. She manages several key accounts for Olsen & Associates and helps with the PR planning, writing, media relations and training for all clients.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Nevada Reno's Reynolds School of Journalism where she worked as a Public Relations Writer in the Marketing & Communications department. She wrote feature stories for Silver & Blue, the alumni magazine, Nevada News, a faculty/staff newspaper and for the university's Web site.
Jennifer assisted account teams on numerous campaigns that won top awards at both the Public Relations Society of America's Silver Spike Awards and the Advertising Association of Northern Nevada.
Jennifer is very passionate about her volunteer work, which includes time as a companion for VistaCare Hospice and working with the homeless. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and the Northern Nevada Black Cultural Awareness Society's Martin Luther King Dinner.
Jennifer is a member of the Reno Tahoe Young Professional's Network and serves as the Director of Community Service for the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, where she oversees the organization's community outreach programs.
